What your eyes can see
And what your ears can hear
Don't you realise that I need you here
Can't you see me? Can't you feel me?

Don't you take the time
To commit the crime
Does it feel the same, when you light the flame
Can you taste it? Don't you waste it

Why don't you wake up and look around
Cos there's so much out there to be found
Why don't you wake up and look around
Cos there's so much out there to be found

Cause you never had the time
Did you take the dare?
Did you live your life in that closet there?
Did you fight it? Did you like it?

Cos you never had time
Or read between the lines
Always too busy as the world passed by
Did you miss it? Did you kiss it?

Why don't you wake up and look around
Cos there's so much out there to be found

If you take a listen to the voice within
Release your soul and let the light shine in

Could it be the same?
Did you play the game?
Did you paint your dreams in that picture frame
You despised it? You disguised it

And when you laid down to die
Did you start to cry?
Did you try to lie but exhaled a sigh?
Did you wave goodbye? Did you ever try?

There's nothing you can say or do
That would ever change my mind about you
I'm tired of being second best
While you hold secrets close to your chest

Cause I've heard it all before
That's why I'm walking out the door
And I've taken all I can
I'm a solitary man, I'm a solitary man

So many times I bit my lip
You watched me fall when I lost my grip
And a thousand times I took the blame
Now I'm not going to play your useless games

Cause I've heard it all before
That's why I'm walking out the door
And I've taken all I can
I'm a solitary man, I'm a solitary man

The past is there so we can learn from it
But I only seem to get burnt by it

Cause I've heard it all before
That's why I'm walking out the door
And I've taken all I can
I'm a solitary man, I'm a solitary man

I'm a solitary man....

It's on the radio, TV and in magazines
It's even in your dreams
Yeah, the boss is happy cause the public will buy
He's playing party tricks with the people's desires

It's whatever you want to make it
It's everywhere you can't escape it

Sex Sells
Oh-oh whatever you've got
Sex sells
Oh-oh whatever you sell
Use it and abuse it.....sex sells

An appropriate tear in faded blue jeans
A beauty shows her finer points in a scandalous scene
People may complain, they may make a lot of fuss
But we can't do jack shit, cause we like it too much
They'll try and sell us a lot we don't need
But we'll buy it anyway cause that's the power of greed

Sex Sells
Oh-oh whatever you've got
Sex sells
Oh-oh whatever you sell
Use it and abuse it.....sex sells

Ricky lived on the outskirts of town
He didn't want to be anyone's clown
His daddy was mean
Always making a scene

The someone came along and said
What's going on inside your head
You gonna sit and rot with the rest
Or are you going to put it to the test

Ricky sat up and said with a smile
You gotta make it worth my while
If its a hit and run and grab the stash
You gott a show me just a little cash

But something went wrong, something unplanned
Bad luck dealt it's ugly hand
The door was slammed and the key thrown away
Ricky got down on his knees to pray....to prey

So the day came and the plan was made
Sippin' cocktails in the shade
In twenty minutes the job would be done
Fifty grand for a little fun

Smooth as silk the hoist went well
He wore a mask so no one could tell
Everything went well to plan
Except for one little man

He had to be the hero, he had to stuff it up
He held the cards and called his bluff

The cops said freeze and enough was said
He held the gun to Ricky's head

But something went wrong, something unplanned
Bad luck dealt it's ugly hand
The door was slammed and the key thrown away
Ricky got down on his knees to pray....to prey

Ricky.....
Ricky (something went wrong)
Look out!

Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah

Have you got the time?
Have you got the place?
We we've never met but I know your face

Are you feeling sad?
And a little down?
C'mon sugar let me show you around

I love the music business
It's such a fulfilled life
But you better have a thick skin
To stick through all the strife

Just leave your name and number
And he'll return your call
They're always out to lunch
Well they ain't ever gonna call

It's always the same
You've got to play the game
Take the spin and try to win
So I tightened my pants
And I took a chance
I'm looking out for a bit of romance

A beer at the bar and a fat cigar
My manager told me I'd go far
It's a gas, life's a blast
C'mon baby it's going fast

What's inside me
Can be set free
There's a choice
For you and me
It really isn't
That hard to see
Just leave it all
To destiny
